Instructions:

  1. Preheat oven to 300°F. Season ribs with black pepper.

  2. Wrap ribs tightly in foil and bake 2½–3 hours until tender.

  3. Remove from oven and preheat grill to medium heat.

  4. Brush ribs generously with barbecue sauce and brown sugar.

  5. Grill 5–10 minutes per side until caramelized.

  6. Let ribs rest 5 minutes, then slice and serve.
