🌶️ TEQUILA & LIME SHRIMP TACOS

Ingredients:

  • 1 lb. medium shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 1/4 cup fresh-squeezed lemon juice
  • 1/4 cup fresh-squeezed lime juice
  • 2 tbsp. agave nectar or honey
  • 2 tbsp. finely chopped fresh garlic
  • 1 tbsp. olive oil
  • 1 tsp. ground cumin
  • 1/2 tsp. smoked paprika
  • 1/2 tsp. kosher salt
  • 1/4 tsp. black pepper
  • 1/2 medium avocado, peeled, pitted and diced
  • 3 tbsp. Cholula® Reserva Tequila & Lime Hot Sauce
  • 8 small corn tortillas
  • 1/2 cup diced red cabbage
  • 1/4 cup chopped fresh cilantro
  • Lime wedges, for serving

Instructions:

In a large bowl, whisk together the lemon juice, lime juice, agave nectar, garlic, olive oil, cumin, paprika, salt, and black pepper.

Add the shrimp to the bowl and toss to coat with the marinade. Cover and refrigerate for 20 minutes.

Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the shrimp and marinade to the skillet and cook until the shrimp are pink and cooked through, about 4-5 minutes.

Remove the skillet from heat and stir in the avocado and Cholula® Reserva Tequila & Lime Hot Sauce.

Warm the tortillas according to package instructions.

To assemble the tacos, place the shrimp mixture onto each tortilla. Top with diced red cabbage and fresh cilantro. Serve with lime wedges on the side.
